Prayer Breakfasts

This Saturday (13 February) we are at Lavenham Village Hall, hosted by the parish church. The hall is at the far end of the large car park beside the Cock pub (now The Cock Horse Inn), nearly opposite the church, postcode CO10 9SA.

On Saturday 20 February we are at St John’s Methodist Church, Sudbury.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity:

The first special event in the New Year is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, in January. The Week offers opportunities to meet and pray with fellow Christians of different denominations. The theme this year is Salt of the Earth.

Advent Course: Making Room

At St John’s Methodist Church, we often run a course in Lent but I thought it would be interesting to do one in Advent, as we prepare ourselves for Christmas.

I am running a York Course entitled “Making Room”. It will be on Wednesday mornings at 10:00am at St John’s. Dates are: Dec 2nd, Dec 9th, Dec 16th and Dec 23rd.
