This Saturday 17th November we are at New Life Church, 8 to 9.30am as usual for a light breakfast and a time of prayer.

New Life Church meets in G Block, Thomas Gainsborough School, Wells Hall Rd, Great Cornard, CO10 0NH.

On Saturday 24th November we are at Glemsford Methodist Church, 9A Tye Green, Glemsford, CO10 7RH.

Is there anyone at your church who would be able to help with Kettle and Fish, the cafe run by Churches Together which is open most Thursdays 10am-2pm in St Peter’s.  We are entirely volunteer run and many hands make light work.  We would currently particularly welcome volunteers able to help in the kitchen between 12 midday and 2pm and people able to help set up on a Wednesday afternoon.  However additional volunteers at any time are most welcome!  Contact Ruth ..read more

The Christmas Tree festival runs in St Peter’s from 5th-9th December and help to serve teas, coffees and light refreshments would be much appreciated.  We are asking for volunteers to sign up for 2 hour slots 10-12, 12-2 and 2-4 each day.  If you are interested, please contact Ruth Ridge or Andrew and Anita Dixey.

On Sunday November 18th at 3pm in St Johns Methodist Church Sudbury, Rev’d Colin Chapman will speak and lead a discussion on ‘What do Muslims and Christians have to talk about?’ Colin is author of ‘The Cross and the Crescent’ and has spent many years in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon as a missionary with CMS and is an honorary canon of Cairo Cathedral. He has spoken in Sudbury before and has encouraged the work of the Muslim/ Christian Dialogue. Everyone welcome to this special event.

Many say how inspiring it is to meet people who are working on our programmes overseas. This Advent, we are hosting a visit by Zeina Zakar, from our partner Association Najdeh in Lebanon. She’s coming to Sudbury!

Including  Donkeys,  Kid’s Crafts, Nerf Challenge, Green Screen, Photo Booth, Café, Babes to 5’s (Abi’s Footprints) and Multi-Sensory Nativity

The Community Christmas Lunch will once again be at Suffolk Road Church, Suffolk Road Sudbury. As always it is Open to everyone, including families.

Transport can be arranged where needed.

Cost £10 including materials and refreshments.
