The Forum scheduled for 5th October has been postponed and a date for a virtual AGM will be circulated shortly.  Annual reports will be required as usual and should be sent to Rev Ruth Ridge as soon as possible please.  Once collated they will be circulated by email.

When we go shopping we have a huge choice of what to buy, we don’t always buy exactly the same things each week – variety is the spice of life after all. “The heavens declare the glory of God”

We were so disappointed we couldn’t welcome people to worship outdoors on the reserve on Sunday, 13th, but delighted that so many joined us on Zoom.  Thank you for being there.

Source to Sea

This is part of the ‘Great British Beach Clean’ taking place around the country this week.  We’re putting some canoes onto the Stour to collect plastic and litter from the river near the nature reserve.  Your prayers would be valued.

The Family and Community Network (Number 72) has now re-opened following the easing of lockdown restrictions. The drop-in centre in North Street will initially be operating on a reduced hours basis from 9:30am-12:30pm Wednesdays and Thursdays only. One-to-one meetings are available at other times and on other days of the week, by appointment.

To coincide with our re-opening we are also pleased to announce that we have been joined by two new team members…

Volunteer delivery drivers needed.

Storehouse provides emergency food for those who can’t afford even the basics. Many of our individuals and families can’t get to us to collect their food. This could be because they don’t have transport, are disabled and housebound, shielding or quarantined due to Covid or simply can’t carry the weight of food we give them.
