This Saturday, 18 May, we are at All Saints’ Church Hall, Sudbury – 8 to 9.30am as usual for a light breakfast and a time of prayer. The lay evangelists who are in Sudbury this weekend are likely to be joining us.

Next Saturday, 25 May, Prayer Breakfast is at Sudbury Baptist Church.

As far as I know, we await offers for 8 June and 6 July.

We are delighted to welcome John Coles as our guest speaker to The Filling Station on Thursday 23rd May. 

For many years John was the leader of New Wine and now, with his wife Ann speaks across the U.K.

Currently, there are over 90 Filling Stations nationwide, that gather once a month, on weekday evenings, in neutral venues with the aim of bringing Christians together for praise, testimony, Bible teaching and prayer ministry.

The meeting commences at 7-30pm. Coffee and cakes from 7pm.

As part of the national initiative, Thy Kingdom Come, we are excited to announce a new prayer event called ‘Bow Down’ on Pentecost Sunday. It is being organised by local church ministers, co-ordinated by Andrew and Emma Stewart-Darling (Stour Valley Vineyard) and in partnership with CTiS&D. Our next meeting will be on Thursday 16th May at 2.30pm inthe Common Lands Room (Ground Floor)at The Christopher Centre, Gainsborough Street, Sudbury.

After a short AGM, Sue Ayres will tell us about ‘My Life as Mayor’.

All are welcome. Subscription is £3.50 per meeting to include refreshments and a raffle.

Last Sunday (12 May 2019) on a fine afternoon about 40 people gathered for an open-air service, based on the Ioana Abbey Creation Liturgy. Rev John Boardman with his guitar led the service and had written the songs. Others assisted in various ways. Later Andy Jowitt gave some of us a guided tour of the reserve. Many thanks to all involved.

This Saturday, 11 May, we are hosted by St Mary’s Glemsford, in the Old School Hall, Tye Green, CO10 7RH (opposite the village hall) – 8 to 9.30am as usual for a light breakfast and a time of prayer.
