Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Café. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is usually open every Thursday except the first in the month.

Kettle & Fish is open this Thursday, 10 April. Please do drop in and see us then.  We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 10am to 1.30pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.

There will be no poster listing Holy Week and Easter services this year.

Each church is asked to ensure that  information about their Easter services is on their website and easily found.

[10 Apr 2025 | Comments Off on Good Friday Mini-Pilgrimage in the Glem Valley | ]

Walk, cycle or drive. Visit the five churches in the Glem Valley Benefice, with a short reflection at each. Finish at Glemsford Methodist Church, with a reflective service for Good Friday, followed by refreshments.

Everyone is welcome to join all or any part of the journey.

This Saturday, 5 April, we will be at St John’s Methodist Church, Sudbury.

We meet on Saturdays from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.

On 12 April, we are at Sudbury Baptist Church.

Do join us if you can. You will be most welcome, whether you have never been before, or have not been for a couple of years, or are a regular!

There will be a Charity Cake Market Stall at Sudbury Market, 9am-12noon on Saturday 12th April, raising funds for Eden’s Youth Centre and Abi’s Footprints Baby Bank. It would be lovely if churches could display a poster and individuals could share it on social media if possible. Thank you.
