Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Café. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is usually open every Thursday except the first in the month.
Kettle & Fish is open this Thursday, 29 January. Please do drop in and see us. We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 10am to 1.30pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.

Please pray for Number 72. We have been experiencing steady demand for the various services we offer but unfortunately our finances have been declining sharply. The situation is now serious and trustees are faced with challenging decisions. We would be grateful for prayer for wisdom for those involved and for the ongoing work of Number 72.

Many thanks to all who attended any of the sessions last week, and to all those who made them happen. We shared in various styles of worship during the eight days, we learnt about the Church in Armenia, and we focussed on the importance of unity within the Church (Ephesians 4). We also enjoyed fellowship and sampled a variety of delicious soups and other refreshments!

The BBC will once again report on Simon of Sudbury at St Gregory’s – this time via Radio Suffolk on their breakfast programme on Monday 16 February. The interview will combine the church’s civic role, as a functioning parish church and as custodian of a relic of national political and historic importance.

This Saturday, 24 January, we meet again at All Saints’ Church Hall, this time hosted by All Saints’, from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.
Do join us if you can. You will be most welcome, whether you have never been before, or have not been for a couple of years, or are a regular!
On 31 January we are at the Friends’ Meeting House, in Friars Street, Sudbury.

We are now at the half way point of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
Please ensure good publicity in your church, and come to as many days as you can, bringing others with you.
The Week of Prayer is international and offers local opportunities to meet, pray and study the Bible with fellow Christians of different denominations. The theme this year is One Body, One Spirit.
