Week of Prayer for Christian Unity:

The first special event in the New Year is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, in January. The Week offers opportunities to meet and pray with fellow Christians of different denominations. The theme this year is Salt of the Earth.

In Sudbury & District we have:

• Day 1: Sunday 17th January, 6:30 pm United Service at All Saints Church, Sudbury
• Day 2: Monday 18th January, 12:30 St John’s Methodist Church
• Day 3: Tuesday 19th January, 12:30 St Catherine’s, Long Melford
• Day 4: Wednesday 20th January, 12:30 Cornard Christian Fellowship
• Day 5: Thursday 21st January, 12:30 Salvation Army, Sudbury
• Day 6: Friday 22nd January, 12:30 Sudbury Baptist Church
• Day 7: Saturday 23rd Jan, 8 – 9:30 am Prayer Breakfast at All Saints Church Hall, Sudbury
• Day 8: Sunday 24th January, ?????

Refreshments will be provided after most services.

The Week of Prayer is an annual worldwide event. It is a great joy to meet with members of other churches; please come to as many of these days as you can.
