Harvest time is upon us again.  Last year many churches and schools donated their harvest food to Storehouse which really helped us to provide food throughout the winter months to those in need in our community.  If you are thinking of donating again this year, you can find some useful resources and information at http://www.stourvalleyvineyard.org/harvest-2014

Thank you. Beryl Worvell, Storehouse Team Leader.

Sudbury Health Centre

Richard Titford writes …

… Almost predictably, further to what I said at the recent CTIS&D meeting at Great Cornard, the opening date for the new Sudbury Health centre has been postponed until 17th October.  It is unfortunate, but not the end of the world.

Please Help God’s Other Creatures

God requires us to care for his natural world.

Our lust for wealth leads to destruction of natural habitats and wildlife. Many once common species have become locally extinct. As a Christian my concern leads me to work 6 days a week, mostly voluntarily, to preserve local wildlife. I could achieve so much more with a little help. Are there any of my fellow Christians (& others) willing to help?

Can YOU give some time (at your convenience) ..read more

Prayers for Syria:

Revd Gregory Webb writes:

No doubt many of us are actively praying for the people of Syria in view of the continuing conflict, but especially at the moment in the light of the recent suspected and horrific “chemical warfare” and the resulting current discussions by world leaders about taking military action. Many fear what the future will bring. Please note that St Gregory’s Church in Sudbury is open each day between 9.00am and 5.00pm and there is a area in the ..read more
