Harvest
Harvest time is upon us again. Last year many churches and schools donated their harvest food to Storehouse which really helped us to provide food throughout the winter months to those in need in our community. … Almost predictably, further to what I said at the recent CTIS&D meeting at Great Cornard, the opening date for the new Sudbury Health centre has been postponed until 17th October. It is unfortunate, but not the end of the world.

Renewed appeal following more scam calls– from Suffolk police Thursday 29 May 2014
Police are again urging residents not to give out personal information, and to be alert for a scam where callers pose as an officer to get you to hand over cash and bank cards, after two more incidents on Friday.

Volunteer Car Drivers
The Bridge Project Bradbury Courtyard Cafe is looking for volunteer car drivers to extend their hot meals service to older and vulnerable residents in the Great Cornard area for an hour or so at mid-day on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 2014.
