Renewed appeal following more scam calls– from Suffolk police Thursday 29 May 2014
Police are again urging residents not to give out personal information, and to be alert for a scam where callers pose as an officer to get you to hand over cash and bank cards, after two more incidents on Friday.

Volunteer Car Drivers
The Bridge Project Bradbury Courtyard Cafe is looking for volunteer car drivers to extend their hot meals service to older and vulnerable residents in the Great Cornard area for an hour or so at mid-day on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 2014.

Police warning – please pass on!
Police in Suffolk are urging friends, relatives, carers and neighbours to pass on advice to elderly people they care for after five people have been scammed out of almost £30,000 – the most recent was yesterday.

Please Help God’s Other Creatures
God requires us to care for his natural world.
Our lust for wealth leads to destruction of natural habitats and wildlife. Many once common species have become locally extinct. As a Christian my concern leads me to work 6 days a week, mostly voluntarily, to preserve local wildlife. I could achieve so much more with a little help.
