Eden’s Project/MY-Yearout have 5 students starting September 2008,  3 of which still need accommodation, they are:

Chelsea Boyd, 20,  just graduated from MY-Yearout and is back in Texas (USA) over the summer before returning to become an Eden’s Assistant Youthworker. David Cornes, 18, from Lavenham and worships at Suffolk Road Church, who will be joining MY-Yearout, David’s parent’s are moving to Germany and he therefore needs accommodation. Dan Thomas, 23, from the West Midlands, Dan recently graduated from Cambridge University and will be joining MY-Yearout.

The wet weather stayed away for Churches Together in Sudbury and District when they took over Market Hill in Sudbury last Sunday (13th July) to stage their largest annual open air event. It was an action packed event with a programme of activities designed to entertain all age groups which ran concurrently throughout  the afternoon.

Please come and join us at Eden’s Project (45 Gainsborough Street, Sudbury CO10 2EU) this Sunday (20th July) evening as we have a time of worship, food and presentations starting at 7:45pm to say thank you and goodbye to the MY-Yearout students;

and/or   Come to Eden’s For Adults open evening next Saturday (26th July) between 7:30-9:30pm for a chance to see around Eden’s, find out more about what goes on and try out some of the activities that the young people find ..read more

Starting from this week, the opening times for Kettle & Fish have changed to 9.45 am to 2 pm.   Kettle & Fish is in St Peter’s most Thursdays. In the next few weeks the dates I have are 10 & 17 July, and every Thursday in August.   Best wishes, Malcolm.

Dear All,   I got a warning yesterday Lincolnshire  Police that the very plausible conman, who operated extensively in the East Midlands division and other parts of the UK last year, has been released from detention and is now operating his scam again – unfortunately already with success in Saxilby. Usually he asks for help with travelling costs to attend the funeral of his mother or other relative.

Some of you may already be aware or have a team involved in the Fellowship Football league. For those that don’t a brief background: The Fellowship Football league was formed in 2005 and has steadily grown since then. CTiS&D break with tradition and this year                   Praise in the Park becomes “Praise on Market Hill”.

It is being held on Sunday 13th July 2008 and the Programme, with the theme “Love changes everything”, starts at 1.30 pm and will include: St Andrew’s Choir; Puppets; Drama & Dance; Mime Artist – Ken Wylie; plus Children’s items.
