Very little of the value of a cup of tea reaches the farmers and pickers who produce it – sometimes as little as 1%. Many of the people behind the tea we drink face poverty, unsafe working conditions, and the growing threat of climate change.
We’re calling for the government to introduce a new law to protect tea farmers and workers – a law that would require businesses to do human rights and environmental due diligence on its supply chain.

Due to illness, it is not possible to have the Prayer Breakfast this Saturday, 29 November.All being well, we hope to meet as usual on 6 December at Sudbury Baptist Church.
This Saturday, 29 November we are again at All Saints’ Church Hall, this time hosted by Holy Trinity, Long Melford, from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.
Do join us if you can. You will be most welcome, whether you have never been before, or have not been for a couple of years, or are a regular!
On 6 December we are at Sudbury Baptist Church.
