Very little of the value of a cup of tea reaches the farmers and pickers who produce it – sometimes as little as 1%. Many of the people behind the tea we drink face poverty, unsafe working conditions, and the growing threat of climate change. 

We’re calling for the government to introduce a new law to protect tea farmers and workers – a law that would require businesses to do human rights and environmental due diligence on its supply chain.
