The Bishops’ Office has announced:

The Revd Thomas James Mumford moves from his post as Assistant Curate, Sudbury St Gregory with St Peter and Chilton and Assistant Rural Dean, Sudbury Deanery, to his new post as Interim Priest-in-Charge, Ipswich St Mary Le Tower, Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

In October 2020, our teams carried out road resurfacing along A131 Gainsborough Road, Sudbury. The resurfacing is now due to be completed along A131 Gregory Street, Sudbury between Stour Street and Croft Road.

The works are programmed to take place overnight between 20 July and 24 July 2021. The road will be closed for the duration of the road closure, from 7pm to 5am each night.

For the duration of the road closure, light traffic will be diverted via Church Street, Friars Street, Station Road, Great Eastern more

We are very pleased to say that Kettle and Fish re-opened on 27th May, with full COVID safe measures in place, including table service.  Please do pop in to enjoy coffee, tea and all the usual treats.  We will be open,10am-2pm, on: 15th, 22nd July, and 26th August. Please note that K&F will not now be open on 12th August.

Agape Café is re-opening on 7th July at 10.00 in the Terrapin Building at Wells Hall Old School on Head Lane/Well Hall Road junction. Parking and disabled access is good.

We serve hot and cold drinks, cakes, scones and filled rolls – all at very reasonable prices. Our main aim is to provide a venue in Cornard where people can meet together and enjoy one another’s company.
