The funeral and thanksgiving service for Kathleen Hill will be held at St John’s Methodist Church, Sudbury, this Friday 9th January at 1pm. All are welcome.
Kathleen was a regular helper at Kettle & Fish while her health allowed.
Her husband, Revd Malcolm Hill, died last summer. Malcolm was a former minister at Sudbury United Reformed Church, and an active supporter of calls for world justice and peace.

Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Café. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is usually open every Thursday except the first in the month.
Kettle & Fish will next be open on Thursday, 15 January. Please do drop in and see us then. We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 10am to 1.30pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.

Saturday 28th March, 10am – 3pm, at Sudbury Town Hall & Sudbury Arts Centre.
Sudbury on Show is a biennial celebration of the many community organisations that make Sudbury unique.
Churches Together, some individual churches, other Christian organisations, Sudbury Fairtrade – these are among the groups that have had stalls in some previous years. Applications are now open. The deadline is Monday 9th February 2026.

St Mary’s church in Chilton will be holding its annual carol service on Sunday 14th December at 3pm. It often followed by mince pies and mulled wine.
There is usually parking at Skyview Systems, 9 Church Field Road, Chilton Industrial Estate, Sudbury, CO10 2YA. The church is behind the car park.
