Ruth Ridge has set up an email prayer network to circulate requests, resources, and good news stories that are sent to her.

Zoom Prayer Meetings continue each Saturday, 9 to 10am.

The sessions usually consist of news from various churches and individuals, followed by a period of prayer where spoken contributions are optional.

New members are very much welcomed!

A talk at The Sudbury Society about Simon of Sudbury, Archbishop of Canterbury during the late 14th century.

Andrew Phillips will be exploring whether this son of Sudbury was a hero or tyrant, and it should be a fascinating talk!

Simon of Sudbury was Archbishop of Canterbury and Chancellor of the Exchequer until his violent death during the Peasant’s Revolt of 1381.

On Tuesday 1st February we will resume our monthly First Tuesday openings from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m, when the Church is unlocked for private prayer and quiet contemplation, while fellowship, refreshments and lunch are available in the Schoolroom. This is open to everyone to come and go as they please.

Sudbury achieved Fairtrade status in the spring of 2013 with the support of the Town Council and other community organisations. John Boardman and a small committee were behind this move.

The group is aiming to increase its membership and to raise the profile of Fairtrade locally. If you or anyone you know has a passion for promoting Fairtrade, please contact info@sudburyfairtrade.org.uk .

The week continues …..

The Week of Prayer is international and offers local opportunities to meet and pray with fellow Christians of different denominations.

In the Sudbury area we usually observe the eight days from Saturday to Saturday, and this year the dates are 15 to 22 January.

The Covid situation has prevented the usual programme. Please join as many as you are able:
