Advent Course starting this Wednesday 30th October and running for 5 weeks. The title is ‘Through a Mother’s lens’ and looks at the Christmas story through Mary’s eyes.
We start in Gt Waldingfield Primary School Hall with tea/coffee/cakes at 7.00 and finish at 9.00.
Everyone very welcome. Each evening stands alone so come to some if you can’t make them all!

Following the success of last year’s national Big Quiz Night, Tearfund are asking churches to host another Big Quiz Night this year on Saturday 16th November. New Life Church will be hosting a quiz again at Thomas Gainsborough School G-Block with doors opening at 7.15pm for refreshments, to be ready for the quiz to begin at 7.45pm. Although originally training as a curate, Chris found his spiritual gifting was in Bible teaching and for the last 50 years has taught in venues throughout the U.K. and Europe. Also, with his wife Lindy, Chris has led numerous tours to Israel.

There is that expectation upon our churches that we carry out risk assessments as part of our responsibility to provide safe places for people, whether they are children or adults. This should include, if possible, being able to offer emergency first aid. To that end, Stour Valley Vineyard is organising an Emergency First Aid Training Day, but we thought we would like to extend the invitation to our fellow churches too.
