As many people prepare to celebrate Halloween, it is important to remember the Christian origins of All Hallow’s Eve and the message that although evil exists in the world, God’s power for good is stronger.  Please find attached a prayer which you could display in your window on 31st October.

We are created by a creator God and each one of us has something of that creativity within us.  It could be writing, sewing, painting / drawing, photography etc. Next year All Saints’ are hoping to put on an exhibition of work entitled HOW DO YOU SEE GOD IN THIS. Judith Offord – 315689.

Advent Course starting this Wednesday 30th October and running for 5 weeks. The title is ‘Through a Mother’s lens’ and looks at the Christmas story through Mary’s eyes.

We start in Gt Waldingfield Primary School Hall with tea/coffee/cakes at 7.00 and finish at 9.00.

Although originally training as a curate, Chris found his spiritual gifting was in Bible teaching and for the last 50 years has taught in venues throughout the U.K. and Europe. Also, with his wife Lindy, Chris has led numerous tours to Israel.

There is that expectation upon our churches that we carry out risk assessments as part of our responsibility to provide safe places for people, whether they are children or adults. This should include, if possible, being able to offer emergency first aid. To that end, Stour Valley Vineyard is organising an Emergency First Aid Training Day, but we thought we would like to extend the invitation to our fellow churches too.
