Emergency First Aid Training Day

29 October 2019 No Comment

There is that expectation upon our churches that we carry out risk assessments as part of our responsibility to provide safe places for people, whether they are children or adults. This should include, if possible, being able to offer emergency first aid. To that end, Stour Valley Vineyard is organising an Emergency First Aid Training Day, but we thought we would like to extend the invitation to our fellow churches too.

Date and place: Saturday 16 November at the Vineyard Centre, Tudor Road, Sudbury.

The day starts with coffee and snacks from 9am and finishes at 4pm. Attendees will need to bring their own lunch. Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day. On completion of the training day each attendee will receive a nationally recognised First Aid certificate that is valid for three years.

By the nature of the training, we have just 6 places open. The cost is £40 per person. (The normal cost for the full day accredited Emergency First Aid at Work course is around £120 per person.) Cheques made payable to ‘Stour Valley Vineyard’, marked ‘first aid day’ and sent to Karen Naylor, Vineyard Centre, Tudor Road, Sudbury, CO10 1NP. Payment deadline is Thursday 14th November.

To book your place, email Carl Ward at the Vineyard Centre.

Blessings.

Pastor Andrew Stewart-Darling
