During our Summer break we have had to make some difficult decisions regarding the future of the Depot.

The Depot is almost entirely self funded from our fundraising events. Plus our one loyal sponsor. Over the past 3 years the rent for our base at The Christopher Centre has risen considerably. Despite our best efforts we can no longer raise enough money to pay for both our rooms at The Christopher Centre. 

Our choices were close the Depot or reduce our costs.

We have decided to reduce our costs. This means giving up one of our rooms.

We will have to clear it by December. Therefore we will not be taking in any small items of stock during September and October.

We will be  in need of a dry storage space to store our mattresses after December. Please pray for us regarding this most urgent of needs. Without such space we may have to stop supplying one of the basic needs of folk moving in to empty properties, a bed to sleep on.

Also we are looking for folk to make up a fundraising committee to support current projects and look for new fundraising opportunities. This is vital for the future of The Depot.
