Dear Churches Together,

Andrew Bunting, Complex Case Officer (Housing Solutions) for Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council and Street Link, will speak about homelessness on Thursday, January 30th, at 1 p.m. This will be at the Quaker Meeting House on Friar St., and we would like to invite the broader community as this is a community concern. 

Please pass this invite on to local businesses, charities, and civic organisations. Homelessness is a community problem that needs a community response. We exist to serve our non-members, particularly the “weakest of these”. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote, “The Church is the Church only when it exists for others.” 

We have a Quaker Meeting for Worship, half an hour of silence, from 12:30 to 1 pm beforehand. Please join us if you can.
