Art Competition, Film night, songs of praise and Jubilee Fete

Queens Diamond Jubilee bank holiday weekend, Fri 1st – Mon 4th June – see Poster

We are having an Art competition – we have involved all our Gt Cornard Schools.

The theme is “Great Britain” and the art work is being judged by Gainsborough House and Bookends of Sudbury.

All art work will then be exhibited over the long weekend between 2pm – 6pm daily, then the 3 lucky winners will have their art work shown in Bookends of Sudbury window for just over a week.

Also on the Friday we are showing “The Queen” starring Helen Mirren, starting at 7pm.

On Sun 3rd at 6pm we have Jubilee songs of praise.

And to finish our wonderful jubilee celebration on Mon 4th we are having a Fete, where you can enjoy the art work, buy a lovely homemade cake, enter a raffle, have a go on the bouncy castle,have your face painted, your hair braided, enjoy throwing a wet sponge, enjoy a game of large skittles or connect 4, purchase some plants or maybe just wonder around with a refreshing iced lolly in one hand and a delicious hot dog in the other hand.
