Sponsored canoe for Christian Aid

Way back in August ten people paddled from Sudbury to Bures for Christian Aid.

This is a belated thank you to those who took part and those who supported them.

The total raised, including the Just Giving account and a donation of £100 from Kettle & Fish (Churches Together in Sudbury & District), amounted to £1,100. With Gift Aid adding 25% to many donations, and then EU quadrupling, I estimate that the Empowering Women and Girls project in Central America should benefit by around £5,000.
