Social Media workshop – Twitter etc to promote your church

Nicki Dixon is very much looking forward to holding an informal and fun social media workshop at Cornard Christian Fellowship on Thursday November 3^rd from 7pm for refreshments and hellos before starting at 7.30pm.

The session will be very relaxed looking at how social media can raise a profile of a person and organisation and interact with local, national and international trends and events.

The aim will be to concentrate on Twitter but to also have a brief look at Facebook and to set up individual church Twitter accounts.

Please feel free to bring your laptop and perhaps a couple of photos of something of interest connected with your church and photo of the church itself as Nicki would like to see people send their first tweets!

There’ll be brief notes to take away and anyone who would like to attend can register their interest with Nicki at nicki.dixon@hotmail.co.uk.

Please tell Nicki NO LATER THAN MONDAY if you plan to attend. Please also let her know if you are interested in the session but cannot make that day, as there might be a repeat at a later date.
