Ruth Ridge has set up an email prayer network to circulate requests, resources, and good news stories that are sent to her.

Zoom Prayer Meetings are expected to resume this coming Saturday morning, (4 September), 9 to 10am.

The sessions usually consist of news from various churches and individuals, followed by a period of prayer where spoken contributions are optional.

New members are very much welcomed!

The possibility of restarting Prayer Breakfasts in person from October, is being explored.

A message from Eden’s – can you help?

Please make this request known in your own church community!

Eden’s Project needs more volunteer cooks on Friday evenings, you would need to be available 7-10pm, a minimum of once a month. The food is basic ‘fast food’ type items and training will be given.  You will have some minimal interaction with the young people when handing over the food and therefore a DBS check is required, and you can do one through us or provide us with your update service information if you have registered with the DBS update service.

An ability to relate to teenagers is desirable but being able to cope with the noise they make is essential! You would also need to be sympathetic to the aims and vision of Eden’s as a Christian charity which is open to all young people (regardless of disability, sexuality, nationality, socio-economic status, special educational needs, mental health issues, religion, or any other characteristic).
