This year Fairtrade Fortnight runs from 22 September to 5 October. Thousands of individuals, schools, community groups and companies across the UK will unite under Fairtrade’s “Do It Fair” campaign to celebrate and stand with the people around the world behind the everyday products we love.
Sudbury achieved Fairtrade Town status in 2013. Many local churches became Fairtrade churches at around the same time. Some may need to renew their promises.

A female teacher, committed Christian, needs to stay in the Sudbury/Halstead area once or twice a week during term time, for work. She is a good friend of ours. Does anyone have a room to let to her? She will pay the going rate. No breakfast needed.

Prayer Breakfasts resume after the August break on this Saturday, 6 September, at St John’s Methodist Church, Sudbury, from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.

Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Café. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is usually open every Thursday except the first in the month.
Kettle & Fish is not open this Thursday. It is next open on 11 September. Please do drop in and see us then. We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 10am to 1.30pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.
