This year Fairtrade Fortnight runs from 22 September to 5 October. Thousands of individuals, schools, community groups and companies across the UK will unite under Fairtrade’s “Do It Fair” campaign to celebrate and stand with the people around the world behind the everyday products we love.

Sudbury achieved Fairtrade Town status in 2013. Many local churches became Fairtrade churches at around the same time. Some may need to renew their promises.

This Saturday, 20 September, we are at St Lawrence, Great Waldingfield, from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.

Do join us if you can. You will be most welcome, whether you have never been before, or have not been for a couple of years, or are a regular!

On 27 September we are at the Friends Meeting House (Quakers), Friars Street, Sudbury.

Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Café. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is usually open every Thursday except the first in the month.

Kettle & Fish is open this Thursday, 18 September. Please do drop in and see us then. We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 10am to 1.30pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.
