News from the URC

Heritage Open Day. Once again the URC in School Street will, as well as being part of the Bike and Stride event, be showing their many artefacts connected to the Gainsborough family.

These include a Baptismal Register from the 1700’s including entries for 20 members of the family and an old Church Register listing, amongst other things, details of individual pew rentals.

The church will be open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday 13^th September.
