News from Henham Park

Some of our Town Pastors joined the Festival Pastors at Latitude last weekend.

This was the news on Thursday afternoon, the first of the four days:

“It’s a lovely day here at Latitude. The crowds are pouring in and tents are going up. The Festival Pastors have started their rounds and we have already had opportunities to share a little of who we are and what we do with some of the festival-goers. The FP marquee is massive and has been lovingly (and tastefully) furnished and decorated.  The FP banner we put up last night is the biggest around.”

Prayer was asked for

• people still travelling
• those who have come to a festival for the first time
• those who have never put up a tent before
• our FP stand, that it may attract visitors and keep them returning
• the hospitality volunteers (this year we have welcomed non-TPs)
• opportunities to respond to questions.
