More News from St Gregory’s and All Saints’, Sudbury
The Rev’d Andrew Doarks will be licenced as Rector, Sudbury St Gregory with St Peter and Chilton and Priest in Charge, Sudbury All Saints with Ballingdon and Brundon on Friday 29th April at 7.30pm at St Gregory’s Church, with a celebration afterwards at All Saints’ Church Hall. Bishop Martin will be officiating.
Andrew started his working life in the world of IT and telecommunication systems, before being called to ministry. He met Kate early in his curacy in Bristol and they married in 2013. They have two children, Jasmine and Benjamin, and he has two older children – Grace and Evelyn- who are now in their early twenties. Jasmine is about to be eight and enjoys music and dancing; she has Down’s Syndrome. Ben is just turning six and loves Lego, construction and designing anything from cardboard!
They are also joined by Dotty, a ten week old cockapoo.
Andrew leaves behind two churches in Bristol; both central in theological terms but one with a more formal, liberal catholic style and the other more evangelical in nature.
Andrew hopes to move in to the Rectory around the middle of April in order to get his children into school for the start of the summer term.
