iChurch Course in Sudbury

Urgent remindercan your church afford to be left out? Learn how to use Facebook, Twitter and how the web can grow your church:

Three tried and tested ways to grow your church and how social media can help – even Twitter!

Saturday 12th October 2013, 9.30am – 2.30pm at Sudbury Baptist Church, Church Street, Sudbury, CO10 2BJ (Parking in St Gregory’s School nearby)

The iChurch course is for anyone who wants to explore the place social media might have in the life of their church. It looks at how social media and the web can grow the Church, beginning with a ‘social-media-for-dummies’ track explaining the basics of everything that’s out there for those who are unsure.

The course will address some key questions that every church needs to be asking today. Are Facebook and Twitter pointless, even dangerous, or can they be used effectively and positively? How can they be used to help the Church grow? How can our youth and children’s work grow through the use of social media? How can we become a more welcoming church through social media? How can our Sunday worship services benefit from social media?

The course will also include a section on how to get the best out of a church’s website and allow for a ‘hands on’ tutorial for those who want to try Twitter for themselves!
