From Diane Matthews (Executive Assistant to the Bishops and Archdeacons).

“The Right Revd Martin Seeley, the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, is delighted to announce that The Revd Andrew Doarks has been appointed as Rector of Sudbury St Gregory with St Peter and Chilton and Sudbury All Saints with Ballingdon and Brundon.  Andrew is currently Rector of St Francis, Ashton and St Michael and All Angels, Windmill Hill in the Diocese of Bristol.   A date for Andrew’s institution and induction service will be confirmed in due course.

The Bishop has asked me to pass on his thanks to all those involved in the process of Andrew’s appointment, and he assures you of his prayers.  Please pray for Andrew, his wife Kate and their children Jasmine and Benjamin as they prepare for their move.

This appointment is subject to completion of legal formalities.”

The institution and induction service is expected to be around the end of April or early May.
