Robert Fish, from All Saints’, Sudbury, has offered to arrange this for those who need to update or acquire their First Aider status. 

Lynne Fish’s brother, Peter Chaplin, is a qualified first aid trainer who trained some of us a few years ago.

 Those of us who attended the course need a refresher for our certificates to be valid, but the course is open to anyone who would like to volunteer as a first aider.

 The course is called ‘Emergency First Aid At Work’ and lasts for about six hours. It’s exactly the same as the course offered by the Red Cross and St John’s Ambulance and will take place in All Saints Church Hall on a date (or dates) to be agreed.
