Fairtrade Clothes Show

Feb 27th – March 11th is Fairtrade Fortnight.

The Sudbury Town Fairtrade Group organised a Fairtrade Clothes Show on March 1st, 7:30pm at St Peters.

The Clothes Show was a wonderful success. WELL DONE TO EVERYBODY!!! We made about £110 altogether of which £40 was given to Friends of St Peter. There was a lovely ambiance about the evening and folks seemed quite happy.

Rose and John from Kelvedon provided a great range of clothing, accessories and crafts. The show provided a good mix of fashion and information about Fairtrade. Many thanks Rose and John.

Some things about our organisation could have been better but on the whole, in my opinion, it was a great Fairtrade event. Thanks you to you all.

A few folk wished to join the committee too!  Still no news on workplaces serving Fairtrade.

The next meeting is 12th March, 7:30pm, 24 Waldingfield Road.
