Enjoy a homemade cake – and support Eden’s

3 June 2020 No Comment

From Jude Ayling

As lockdown continues and I remain on furlough from Eden’s Project (the youth charity I work for) we are not able to do our annual Quiz and Puddings night to fundraise. So I have been thinking that I could do some voluntary fundraising in a way that hopefully some of you might enjoy! I am offering homemade cakes to order which can be collected or delivered (within the Sudbury local area) in a safe way. This will be available until the end of June. I am suggesting a donation of £15 per whole cake and all proceeds (minus the cost of the ingredients) will be donated to Eden’s.

The following items will be available to order (each has 10 or more servings):

•Chocolate Fudge cake

•Coffee Cake

•Brownies

•Chelsea Buns

•Ginger Cake

•Apple and Almond Cake (also delicious hot with custard)

• Hummingbird Cake (banana, pineapple and pecans with cream cheese icing)

•Fruit cake

•Chocolate Chip Cookies

•Oat and Raisin Cookies

•Rocky Road

•Healthy Apple Muffins (sweetened with honey and only 169 calories per muffin)

We’ll even throw in a few rounds of quiz questions so that you are all set for the next zoom quiz you are invited to!

I’m sorry that I can’t cater for allergies as I can’t guarantee that my kitchen or the ingredients are allergen free.

If you know me and know the desserts I would usually make for the Quiz and Pudding night and you feel you are missing out you are welcome to make a special request (Cheesecake anyone?).

Please contact me either by text if you have my number already or by email on jude@edensproject.co.uk

Thank you.
