‘Threads through Creation’ is an extraordinary, uplifting textile art exhibition touring twenty cathedrals. It’s touching thousands, and most people are blown away by it.It took Christian artist Jacqui Parkinson three years, miles of thread – and eight million stitches …Just opened at Bury St Edmunds – at St Edmundsbury Cathedral until 4th September. Admission free.You’ll get to see a spectacular display of twelve huge and beautiful HUGE silk panels, retelling the story of Creation from Genesis. You’ve probably read the story in black and white – now see a retelling in glorious colour!It’s a great opportunity for Christians to enjoy, and one of those occasions where you can take friends to – and be certain they’ll enjoy it.
