Christmas Hampers

PLEASE SEE UPDATE REPORT

Peter Sebbage reminds us  that the Christmas Hamper project will soon take off.  Could everyone remind their churches and if possible ask for a real push to collect items, and to help with packing at the Salvation Army on Monday 6th December through to Thursday 9th December.

Items required

*        Childrens’ clothes (as good as new preferably)
*        Non–perishable foods; tins, packets etc. soft drinks, cordials, sweets, chocolates
*        Christmas cards, wrapping paper, Christmas trees and decorations.
*        Christmas crackers, sticky tapes.
*        Toiletries. Christmas items for elderly men and women.
*        Videos, c.ds, d.v.ds.
*        Stuffed toys and dolls / clothing

Hampers will be distributed to Home Start Babergh and Age Concern and other people who you wish to nominate who are in need, lonely or generally forgotten during the festive season.
