URC coffee morning

Essex organists to visit URC coffee morning

Next Saturday (5th April) over a dozen organists from the Essex Organists Association will be visiting Sudbury and during the morning will be playing on the famous Conacher organ in Christ Church URC in School Street.

The fund-raising coffee morning in Friars Hall is in aid of Age Concern Suffolk and will have the usual refeshments and cake and book stalls.

Concert at Lavenham Church – Music for Passiontide

The 46-strong members of the Trinity Boys’ Choir (Croydon) will be giving a concert at Lavenham Church on Thursday, 10th April at 8pm. 

Concert includes the Fauré Requiem and Mendelssohn’s Hear My Prayer. 

This year the choir have engagements in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Italy, Poland, Switzerland and the USA and will be performing operas at The Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne.

The Daily Telegraph said “the choir could not be bettered”.
