Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Cafe. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is usually open every Thursday except the first in the month.

Number 72 faces increasing demand for its services at the same time as a funding crisis. Our existing funding will last only to Easter. We would love to secure an additional £3,000 a month to cover the basic costs. This could be met by 150 people committed to giving £20 per month, 60 people committed to giving £50 a month, or something similar. Our next meeting is this Thursday 26 February 7.30pm at St John’s Methodist church, Fairtrade refreshments served beforehand.
Our meetings are open to anyone interested in seeing Sudbury’s status as a Fairtrade town restored. New members are welcome. Please come if you could have a part to play however small. It all counts.

St John’s is hosting a fundraising event in support of Transform Trade’s Big Brew campaign. We’re having a Morning Tea Party on this Saturday, 28th February from 10.30am-12.30pm. Throughout the morning there’ll be games, quizzes, plenty of Fairtrade tea, coffee and sweet treats made using Fairtrade ingredients.

Sudbury on Show is a wonderful opportunity for local groups to get together and network and to show the local community what they do. It will run this year 10am-3pm on Saturday 28th March in Sudbury Arts Centre at St Peter’s and in the Town Hall.
