Canoeing for Christian Aid

On Tuesday 2nd August twelve people will canoe down the River Stour from Wissington to Stratford St Mary to raise money for a Christian Aid project in Central America, “Empowering women and girls”, which helps marginalised women and girls in El Salvador and Honduras to secure their rights.

The amount raised will again be quadrupled by the EU.

Among those taking part are Revds John Boardman and Ruth Ridge, Simon Snell from Christian Aid in Norwich, Sue Kistruck, Pauline Brown, Luke Butcher, Chris Brown, Richard Stanford, Jenny Pine and Hilary Rooke.
