This Saturday, 25 February, we are at Sudbury Baptist Church, Church Street, Sudbury.
We meet from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.
Do join us if you can. You will be most welcome, whether you have never been before, or have not been for a couple of years, or are a regular!
On Saturday 4 March we are at St Catherine’s, Long Melford.

Several years ago, Sudbury committed to being a Fairtrade Town and many churches committed to being Fairtrade Churches. Now is the time to review purchases made by our church and by each of us as individuals. Fairtrade tea, coffee and bananas are widely available. Chocolate and other goods can be found in places such as Oxfam’s shops.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent and this year it falls on 22 February.Many churches will be having special services, including in Sudbury St Gregory’s at 11am, and All Saints’ at 7.30pm.

The Disasters Emergency Appeal (link: https://www.dec.org.uk/appeal/turkey-syria-earthquake-appeal ) embraces many UK charities, including CAFOD, Christian Aid and Tearfund.
The first £5m has been doubled by the Govt, and Gift Aid adds 20% to the original gift.
They say all the money is distributed through trusted NGOs.
In addition, Sudbury Rotary is collecting, to send to their Rotary colleagues in the areas affected who are supporting the needy.

The annual Civic Service for Sudbury is on Sunday 23rd April 2023 at 2.30 pm at All Saints’ Church, Church Street, Sudbury. All are welcome to attend the service.
This year the service includes the Rededication of the Ancient Charter Document.
23rd April is also St George’s Day.

St Mary’s Church is off Churchfield Road on Chilton Industrial Estate, CO10 2YA.
It has been part of the parish of St Gregory’s, and in the care of the Churches’ Conservation Trust, since the 1980’s. A few services are held each year, together with concerts and dramatic performances.
