IMPORTANT!

If your church or one of the church groups is planning to produce an angel for the Angel Trail, could you let Ruth Ridge know by this Friday, 12th November, please?  We need the final details in order to have time to create a trail map.  The angels themselves do not need to be ready until Monday 22nd November. Kettle & Fish resumes this week at Suffolk Road Church.  Please do drop in and see us.  We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 9.45am-1.45pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.

Whilst renovations are taking place in St Peter’s, Kettle and Fish will be in Suffolk Road Church on these Thursdays: 11, 18,  25 November, 9, 16 December. Further dates will be announced later.

Sudbury Rotary Club will run its Christmas Tree Festival for 2021 from Tuesday 7 to Saturday 11 December, in St Gregory’s Church.

We would like to make it an even more memorable event than usual and we look forward to receiving many applications for trees.

If you would like to take part, please contact us as soon as possible at  ctf@sudburyrotaryclub.com  .

It’s always a special blessing when churches and other Christian folk decorate a tree.

Ruth Ridge has set up an email prayer network to circulate requests, resources, and good news stories that are sent to her.

Zoom Prayer Meetings are continuing on Saturdays, 9 to 10am.

The sessions usually consist of news from various churches and individuals, followed by a period of prayer where spoken contributions are optional.

New members are very much welcomed!

This Advent, CTiS&D is hoping to run an Advent angel trail around the town centre.  We are asking local schools and groups to produce angels (either 2D and A3 size or 3D and not more than 40cm high) in any media (painted, knitted, modelled etc).  These angels will then be placed in shop windows and a trail map will enable people to find them and complete a simple quiz.  The trail will run between 26th November and 23rd December.
