The Noise is about young people from Eden’s Project helping to make a positive difference in the local community, because ‘Actions Speak Louder Than Words’.
This year we have chosen Great Cornard as our focus. We will do a whole load of stuff such as gardening, litter picking, painting and basically making a difference!

“A real credit to the town!”
…..is the comment Inspector Paul Crick gave at a recent reception held at Sudbury Police Headquarters for the town’s Town Pastor scheme. The reception was held to say ‘thank you’ to the Town Pastors and to present a cheque for £100 which had been kindly provided via Councillor John Sayers by Suffolk County Council’s Locality budget in recognition of the work undertaken since the launch of Town Pastors last August. There were house-to-house envelope collections in the Sudbury area as part of the nationwide Christian Aid Week appeal to raise money for emergency relief and long-term development in some of the world’s poorest countries. From 9 to 15 May, eighty volunteer collectors visited 5,000 homes in the locality to deliver and collect the official red Christian Aid envelopes.
