Service of Prayer for Healing and Wholeness

23 May 2008 No Comment

From the Revd Jamie Allen, Vicar of St Andrew’s Church, Great Cornard.
Under recent discussion at Churches Together has been the possibility of establishing and training a Healing Team. The organisation through which that training is intended to be delivered is The Acorn Christian Healing Foundation.
On Sunday 25th May, 6.30pm at St Andrew’s Church, Great Cornard, we are holding a service of prayer for healing and wholeness. Acorn is  our “Charity of the Month” for May, and I am pleased to say that, very  kindly, a representative of Acorn will be joining us (Mrs Pat Dale), and telling us a little about  Acorn’s work in training people in listening and healing.
There will also be an opportunity for people to come forward, during this service, for personal prayer for healing.
I would like to offer a warm invitation to any members of churches in Sudbury and district to join us for this service. It will be a prayerful occasion, and also a chance to learn more about the mission and ministry of Acorn Christian Healing Foundation.
