Sunday afternoon walk From Graham Pattrick

On this coming Sunday (2^nd December) a walk has been planned from Stanstead Church starting as usual at 2pm.   Leader will be Freda (who some of you met on our most recent walk at Hartest) her ‘phone number for any queries 01787 280991.  

How to get to the church:

From the A134 follow the signs to Long Melford.  Take the A1092 signposted to Clare which leads across Melford Green.  About a mile further on take the first right B1066 signed to Stanstead.  After less than 2 miles and past the Stanstead village sign take the first right signed to Shimpling.  After a few hundred yards & near the top of the hill, this narrow, twisting lane veers to the left.  You will then see the church on the left with a small green in front.  There is a driveway along the far edge of the green leading to the parking area.  Post code CO10 9AT.
