Sunday afternoon walk

Lavenham Rambling Club’s next walk is this Sunday, 21^st October, and will be from Toppesfield Bridge, Hadleigh (O.S. grid ref: TL025421) to Kersey and will be led by Julian (01284 830544) starting at the usual time, 2pm.  Distance : just over 4 miles.   

If anyone would like a much shorter walk (about 1 hour) Julian suggests they park at Kersey Church from where he will transport them to Hadleigh for the walk back – if anyone would like to do this please get in touch so we can arrange time and place to wait.

Walks are normally cancelled if the weather is bad (contact the leader on the day if in doubt).

On 4^th November we will be walking at 2pm from Lamarsh Village Hall, Henny Road, Lamarsh, CO8 5EU on the Sudbury to Bures road (Essex side of the river O.S. grid ref: TL891359), taking in Daw’s Hall. Leader Dinah (01206 547959) – the walk postponed from the very wet 23^rd September.

Lavenham Rambling Club is a small, informal and independent group meeting on alternate Sundays. Walks are generally 4 to 5 miles lasting 2 to 2½ hours (shorter in mid-winter) and start at 2 pm from Lavenham, Sudbury or nearby villages. New members are welcome. No need to ‘book’; just come along (suitably equipped for the weather conditions) and content to walk at your own risk.
