Knitted Poppies

As part of the 100 years Commemorations of the end of WW1 the Sudbury Royal British Legion Branch is working with the Town Hall and the Heritage Centre. The Town Hall are organising the knitting of Poppies.

It is intended that these will be cascaded down from St Peters Church. Permission has been given for this.

If you are a knitter or know of any knitters who would like to help with knitting the Poppies please will you ask them if they are happy to help with this?

There are 2 Poppy patterns which are available from the Town Hall and our contact is Jodie Budd.

The Poppies can be taken to the Town Hall before 1st October.

You can also download the patterns: Large poppy and Small poppy with leaf.
