Two Rivers Mission comes to Sudbury
3rd to 11th May 2014
Bank Holiday Monday 5th May, from 12 noon at Woodhall School – Springlands Christian Fellowship Fete.
Tuesday 6th May 8.30pm The White Horse, North St. ‘GRILL-A-VICAR’.
Thursday 8th May at Kettle & Fish in St. Peter’s Church
9.45am-2.00pm Exhibition – ART THAT SPEAKS
3.00pm SHOW & TELL Hear the artist, Rita Tuffey-Clark, speak about her art and how she expresses her faith through her work.
Thursday 8th May at All Saints Church at 7.45pm Healing Service
Friday 9th May 7.45pm for 8.00pm at St. Peter’s ‘ANY QUESTIONS’ with John Hibberd, author of ‘Six Big Questions’
Commissioning and Thanksgiving Events
(1) The Commissioning Service for Week One, for the Colne and the Stour teams, will be held at St Mary’s Haverhill on Saturday 3rd May at 11.30am, with registration from 9.30am.
(2) Thanksgiving Service for Stour Week One on Sunday 11th May 3.00pm at All Saints, Sudbury.
(3) Thanksgiving Service for Colne Week One on Sunday 11th May 3.00pm at Halstead.
(4) Commissioning Service for Week Two, for the Colne and Stour Teams, will be held at Castle Methodist Church, Colchester on Saturday 10th May at 11.00am, with registration from 9.00am. If the weather is kind we hope to hold the service outside in Castle Park by the Bandstand.
(5) Thanksgiving Service for Week Two, for the Colne and Stour Teams, will be held at St Peter’s Church, North Hill, Colchester on Sunday 18th May at 3.00pm.
Please hold all these events, and the two weeks of the mission in the two valleys, in your public and private prayers. There are more details in the attached events lists, but please remember that these are still “work in progress”.

Prayer Ministry – can you help?
As part of the Two Rivers Mission we will be offering a Prayer Ministry on Market Hill from Monday 5th until Saturday 10th May. We would welcome anyone for an hour or two to be available just to chat to passersby or be there to pray with them if they ask. This could be a very blessed time for everyone involved. Request for accommodation for two Mission Team members from Arthur Dalgleish arthur.dalgleish@btopenworld.com. I need to find B & B for 2 men from Sat. 3rd to Tues night/Wed morning. It would be handy if these two men were billeted together, as they are the two who will be leaving our Mission Field to join colleagues already walking the Bures Way.
