Sudbury Autistic Fun Expression
Sudbury Autistic Fun Expression

We have had some amazing times over the last few weeks at The S.A.F.E. Group, and have had some lovely conversations about what we do, and why we do it. We have been blessed on the odd occasion with a person offering some support with painting and creating projects with some of our Autistic members.
I have attached a couple of (somewhat unprofessionally done) posters one & two containing images of items we have recently made.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank those who have kindly donated items to us for our individual projects. This has included flour and lentils (for sensory items), seeds for planting, and enough paint to keep us going a while.
I would also like to mention that now our status is well into recognition under charity status, we will be holding an official “open day”. This will we on Thursday the 12th of April. We will be starting at our usual time of 10:00 am and will have a variety of activities suitable for all ages, a chance to experience the skills and characteristics of Autistic individuals, and a chance to pet and play with a few friendly little animals. We will have representatives from our local council and community, as well as local news media.
Feel free to pop down and have a slice of cake, and a drink, and share in the experience that is Autism.
Bless you all for your prayers and support with this.
Brendan
