Sponsored canoe trip for Christian Aid

This year’s sponsored canoe trip to raise money for a Christian Aid project is next week, on the morning of Wednesday 1 August 2018, along the same stretch of the River Stour as last year, from Wissington to Stratford St Mary. Ten people are taking part, including John Boardman, Richard Stanford and Jane Martland, all from St John’s Methodist Church in Sudbury. This year the event will support a Christian Aid project in Kenya, Supporting children and orphans with HIV/AIDS and will attract an amazing 17:1 matched funding. This means that every £1 raised will turn into £18.
