With Christmas just around the corner, there may be those who want to purchase a CD of a Salvation Army band or choir as a present for friends and family. Well this may be the opportunity for the folk of Sudbury to do just that. On Tuesday 26th October from 5.00pm – 8.30 pm, and from 9.00 am to 11.00 am and Wednesday from 9.00am to 12noon, The Salvation Army Retail Division will be holding a Road Show here at The Salvation Army centre in Sudbury.
They will have on sale a selection of Christmas and non-Christmas CD’s of various Salvation Army and non-Salvation Army bands and choirs as well as a selection of Christian books. The Road Show is open to anyone and you are more than welcome to call in and browse from the selection available.
The Salvation Army Retail Division provides a recording and sales facility for both Salvation Army and non-Salvation Army bands and choirs (World of Sound, World of Brass, and R. Smith & Co are all part of The Salvation Army retail division) and is also the publisher of the brass band journal ‘Bandsman’.
