Remembrance Commemorations in Sudbury

Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th November – The Museum Trust and the Sudbury Ephemera Archive will present a new display in memory of Sudbury men who lost their lives in conflict.
Sunday 11th November – Remembrance Day Parade – procession leaves from outside the Town Hall at 2pm to St Gregory’s Church for 2.30pm service. A marquee will be positioned on the Croft to accommodate people not able to get into the Church.
Sunday 11th November – 7pm – Lighting of the Beacon on the Croft – This ceremony is being organised in partnership with Great Cornard Parish Council.
A cascade of 23,000 poppies has been hanging down from the tower of St Peter’s Church since 23rd October.
