As well as events being planned in Sudbury and Ballingdon, news is in of the preparations being discussed in Springlands and Acton & Gt Waldingfield.

The Two Rivers Mission takes place in the Stour and Colne Valleys in May 2014, and is supported by a team from the national organisation Through Faith Missions. In the Sudbury area the mission runs from 3rd to 11th May.

Church-Crawl

For those of you who are unable to complete the full circle of The Mission Prayer-Walk on Saturday 1st March, I give estimated times of arrival and departure at the different churches.

Starting in All Saints Church at 3:00pm, with introductions, modus-operandi and prayer. Leaving All Saints, say 3:40, we then walk to St. Peter’s for 3:50 to 4:10. Following prayer, we move on to St. Gregory’s for 4:20 to 4:40. After our prayer gathering in St. Gregory’s ..read more

Exciting News!  Great Plans are afoot!  Two Rivers Mission – The Colne and Stour Valley May 2014.  Joining forces with Through Faith Missions (TFM) local churches in Ballingdon, Sudbury, Springlands, Acton, Great Waldingfield and Bures. are aiming to “go where people are;  with simplicity and holiness; and gentle but bold evangelism”.   Meanwhile we covet your prayers for this great venture which could change Colne and Stour Valley for eternity!

Two Rivers Mission Prayer Gathering

Saturday 1st March

We’ll meet and start our prayers in All Saints at 3:00pm, then move on to St. Peter’s, and pray there. We will then walk to St. Gregory’s to pray inside, and then on to Sudbury Baptist Church for final prayer, short worship and tea; hoping to be finished by 5:30pm.

Two Rivers Mission

Arthur Dalgleish has volunteered to be coordinator for Sudbury churches.

There will be another meeting on Monday November 11th at 7.30 pm at Sudbury Baptist Church.

The mission in Sudbury will take place over a one week period: 3rd – 11th May 2014.

The overall mission to the Colne and Stour Valleys runs from 3rd to 18th May.

Two Rivers Mission (Colne & Stour Valleys)

May 2014 will be a once-in-a-generation opportunity to take part in a mission assisted by a national body. Through Faith Missions are coming to help us reach the people of the Stour Valley.

Christian Aid

Simon Snell, Regional Coordinator for Suffolk, will be the speaker at the next CTiS&D Open Forum on Thursday 13th March, 7 for 7.30pm at the Friends Meeting House (Quakers), 22a Friars Street, Sudbury, CO10 2AA.

Whether or not you are already a supporter, this is an ideal opportunity to learn more about the work of Christian Aid and to bring along others.
