NUMBER 72 RE-OPENING

23 September 2020 No Comment

The Family and Community Network (Number 72) has now re-opened following the easing of lockdown restrictions. The drop-in centre in North Street will initially be operating on a reduced hours basis from 9:30am-12:30pm Wednesdays and Thursdays only. One-to-one meetings are available at other times and on other days of the week, by appointment.

To coincide with our re-opening we are also pleased to announce that we have been joined by two new team members…

Stephen Jarrold joins us as a Family and Community Support Worker. Stephen comes with many years of experience in providing pastoral support, both a Lay-Elder, and most recently as the Pastor, of a church. Alongside this he has enjoyed a long professional career in marketing.

Naomi Allan has taken on the role of Voluntary Support Worker. Naomi practiced as a solicitor for ten years, before spending time on the mission field in Zambia. She has a passion for coming alongside hurting and needy people, in order to offer them practical and emotional support, and most of all introducing them to her Saviour.

We are already beginning to see an increase in the number of people who are seeking our help, as the long-term effects of the Covid19 pandemic start to bite, and we expect this to continue.

If you know anybody who might benefit from our support, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

As always, we would welcome your ongoing prayers as we try to share the love of God in deeds as well as in words.
