News from Storehouse
Hello all, hoping you are manging to stay cool – literally & figuratively!
As you know the school summer holidays are on us again. We are already seeing an up lift in families needing our help. The huge financial burden that the summer brings also brings huge anxiety & stress.
Suffolk Council are running lots of free activities that often include a meal over the holidays, for families receiving Free School Meals. A great way to keep those kids active & fed. Please go to their website to find local events: www.healthysuffolk.org.uk/projects. Or see our Facebook page where we are advertising them as they are announced.
The Sudbury Salvation Army are doing an awesome job of collecting free school uniforms & families can go & swap or make a small donation for uniform during August.
At Storehouse we continue to feed anyone in need, signposting them to agencies that can help with underlying issues & the best bit we get to demonstrate the Gospel of love, hope & resurrected lives!! But we need your help to keep our shelves stocked with the volume & variety of items that our community need.
So please share the attached poster & watch our Facebook page/website (stourvalleyvineyard.org) to keep up to date with what we need but also what we can’t take as overwhelmed.
We also still have a vacancy for the Stores Team Co-Ordinator please see our website for details.
God bless & thank you.
